Robbery

FIRST OFFENSE: The victim (student) reported that as she was getting into a vehicle (Uber), the suspect approached from behind and grabbed her cell phone from her hand.  The victim tried to hold on to the phone but was unable to do so. Suspect took the phone and fled on foot.

DATE & TIME OF OCCURRENCE: October 13, 2016 at approximately 5:45 PM

LOCATION:  21st Street and Oak Ave (Off Campus)

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION (provided by the victim):
Male, Black, black “do-rag”, black shirt, black camouflage pants with gold trim, 19-20 years, 6’01”, 180 LBS

SUSPECT VEHICLE:  None seen.

SECOND OFFENSE:  The victim reported that as she was walking alone north on St. James Place talking on her iPhone, she saw a white four door sedan with four people inside driving by southbound at a very slow speed. Seconds later, she sensed someone walking behind her. The suspect then reached over her shoulder and attempted to grab the iPhone from her hand but was unsuccessful. When the victim screamed the suspect ran back to a white sedan which sped away until out of view.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION (provided by the victim):

Male, Black, black hair in “corn rolls”, white hoodie with blue stripes, blue jeans, 17-18 years, 6’01”, 180 LBS

SUSPECT VEHICLE: Possible Honda Civic, white 4 door.
