Self Defense Classes Available Now

USC Public Safety will be offering a self-defense course called Rape Aggression Defense Training (RAD). We are proud to announce that we now offer a self-defense course for men. The course is a total of 12 hours and is broken down into two sessions. Each session is 6 hours. Sessions #1 and #2 must be completed in order to earn full course credit and certification.

Women’s Self-Defense (RAD) Courses:

Option #1:
Wednesdays 4 hour sessions from 6pm-10pm on September 14, September 21, and September 28.
Must attend all three Wednesday night sessions in order to be certified.

Option #2: (Multiple choice – must complete both sessions on either day)

  • Session#1 options:
    • Saturday, September 17th 9am-3pm or
    • Sunday, September 18th 9am-3pm
    • (select either day)
  • Session#2 options:
    • Saturday, September 24th 9am-3pm or
    • Sunday, September 25th 9am-3pm
    • (select either day)

Example: I will attending Session#1 on Saturday, September 17th 9am-3pm & Session #2 on Sunday, September 25th 9am-3pm

Men’s Self-Defense (RAD) Course:

Two 6 hours sessions from 9am-3pm on Saturday, October 22nd & 29th

Both sessions must be completed in order to earn full course credit and certification.
