The USC Department of Public Safety and USC Transportation are pleased to announce a free parking program during the winter break for students, faculty, and staff.

Now in its 17th year, Operation GIFT (Group Initiative For Theft Prevention) offers free parking at the UPC Grand Ave Parking Structure and HSC Valley Parking Lot. beginning Monday, November 21, 2022, and ending Monday, January 9, 2023. If you are leaving town and plan to leave your vehicle parked on or near the USC campus during the holidays, Operation GIFT makes your holiday experience a little easier by providing you with free secure parking. Parking is available on the fourth floor and above at these two parking structures only.

Note: Due to the overwhelming registration at HSC, the GIFT parking at the HSC Biggy Parking Structure had been changed to the Valley Parking Lot to better accommodate the reservation capacity.

Winter Break Free Parking
Reservations for winter break GIFT parking must be made online at http://dps.usc.edu/services/parking/. The deadline for reservations is noon on Friday, December 16, 2022.

LAX Shuttle Service
USC Transportation will offer shuttle service to the Los Angeles International Airport beginning Tuesday, December 13, 2022, through Friday, December 16, 2022, at no cost to students, faculty, and staff. Shuttles will depart from the Widney Alumni House four times a day on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 10 am, 12pm, 2 pm, and 4pm. On Friday, three shuttles will be available at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm. There are a limited number of seats on the airport shuttle. Reservations are now available and are on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline for reservations is 5 p.m. on December 9, 2022, or until seats are filled.
