Robbery/Carjacking-Suspect in Custody

Incident:                   Robbery/Carjacking-Suspect in Custody

Date of Arrest:          July 11, 2018, 5:00 PM

Description of Original Incident:
On June 6, 2018, at 3:40pm, a student and a friend were approached by a female suspect (pictured below) who demanded their car keys. The suspect, possibly concealing a weapon, took the keys from the victims hand, entered the victim’s car and was last observed driving west on Jefferson Blvd from the Shrine Parking Structure.

 

 

 

 

 

Disposition:
During an investigation, LAPD detectives interviewed the suspect who was in custody on another charge. The suspect (pictured above) confessed to the crime of robbery/carjacking of the USC student.  The suspect was charged with robbery and remains in the custody of the LAPD.
