While walking alone, a student was approached by a suspect who displayed a knife and demanded the student’s phone. The student complied with the suspect’s demand, and the suspect, after walking away a short distance, turned and threw the phone at the student.
Disposition:
While conducting a follow up investigation at a nearby convenience store, USC DPS officers located the suspect hiding in the parking lot. The suspect, a juvenile, was arrested and transported to LAPD for booking on robbery charges.
