Residential Burglary (Suspect in Custody)

Description of Incident:
On July 30, 2020 at 3:30 a.m., the suspect entered the residence through an unlocked front door and removed a skateboard, gym bag and other property while the victims were sleeping. A few days later, after realizing they had been burglarized, the victims reviewed their security camera footage and observed the suspect entering and removing property.

Disposition:
On August 7, 2020, while on patrol, a DPS officer detained a person riding a bicycle who fit the description of the suspect identified in this burglary. Upon completing their investigation, the suspect was arrested and taken into custody.
