Aggravated Assault

Incident description: While walking on the train platform, the victim (not affiliated with the university) was approached by the suspect who stabbed him in the chest with a sharp object.

Time & date of incident: 6:30 a.m. on Feb. 6, 2021

Location: Off-campus at Exposition Boulevard and Vermont Avenue on the East Metro platform.

Suspect description: Male, Hispanic, in his 20s, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds and wearing a black hoodie. He was last seen running southbound on Vermont Avenue.

Suspect vehicle: No vehicle seen.
