Incident description: As a student was walking by the location, a transient stabbed her in the leg in an unprovoked attack. The student was transported to a local hospital where she was treated and released and reported to be in good condition.
Incident resolution: Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) were nearby and immediately took the suspect into custody. The suspect was arrested and transported to LAPD for booking on aggravated assault charges.
