Burglary

Incident description: A student walked into her residence as the suspect was walking out. The student saw that the male was carrying property that belonged to her. The student screamed and the suspect ran from the location carrying her property. The student’s roommate was in the apartment in their bedroom unaware that the suspect had been inside.

Time & date of incident: Sept. 13, 2021 at 11 a.m.

Location: Off campus in the 1200 block of West 27th Street

Suspect description: The suspect was described by the student as a Hispanic male, approximately 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet to 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 140 to 150 pounds and having short black curly/wavy hair. He was wearing a red jacket, dark pants, black shoes and a blue surgical mask.

Suspect vehicle: No vehicle seen.
