Last week, USC’s 141st commencement drew more than 85,000 graduates and guests to the University Park Campus. We thank everyone for adhering to the security and perimeter protocols that helped us ensure a successful and memorable celebration for our graduates, their families, friends, and loved ones. Beginning early next week, the University Park Campus interior perimeter will be removed. The exterior perimeter will remain in place and all parking garages will be open (you will be able to access the Downey and Royal structures through the McClintock entrance). If you are arriving by car, public transit, or on foot, please note access at the following entrances: -McCarthy Way & Figueroa St. – vehicles and pedestrians (open 24/7) -McClintock St. and Jefferson Blvd. – vehicles and pedestrians (open 24/7) -Watt Way & Exposition Blvd. – vehicles and pedestrians (open 6 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Friday. Please note that 37th St. is closed due to construction.) Student, staff, and faculty ID cards will continue to be scanned, either as you drive or walk on to campus. As with the previous two weeks, your belongings may be subject to search as you enter campus. Individuals wearing face coverings will be asked to pull them down briefly for ID verification. Entry to campus continues to be limited to students, faculty, staff, registered guests with QR codes, and known vendors with confirmation of work. Visitor/guest registration is open. |
