Assault with a deadly weapon

Incident description: As the victim was walking on the sidewalk, a vehicle drove alongside him and the suspect in the back seat pointed a handgun at the victim and made a “pop pop” sound with his voice.

The vehicle then drove eastbound on Adams Boulevard, then turned southbound on Severance Avenue.

Time & date of incident: 7:25 p.m. on Nov. 10, 2020

Location: Off-campus at 870 W. Adams Blvd.

Suspect description: An unidentified male

Suspect vehicle: A late 1990’s 4-door, white hatchback
