Robbery

Incident description: Today a student reported that yesterday evening, while he was sitting in the park, he was approached by the suspect who pushed him and took his backpack. The backpack contained a laptop and other personal items. The suspect then rode away on a dark colored bicycle eastbound on Exposition Boulevard.

Time & date of incident: Approximately 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 4, 2021

Location: Off campus in Jesse Brewer Park at Exposition Boulevard and Vermont Avenue

Suspect description: The victim described the suspect as a Hispanic male, 20-25 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 150 to 160 pounds, having long curly hair, and wearing a green sweatshirt and dark pants.

Suspect vehicle: A dark colored bicycle
