Incident resolution: Officers from the Department of Public Safety arrived at the location and took the suspect into custody. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Los Angeles Police Department for booking on robbery charges.

Location: Off campus at 3335 S. Figueroa St.
Incident description: The suspect entered the CVS pharmacy, took a pair of jumper cables and tried to leave without paying. As the suspect was leaving the store, a store employee confronted her about taking the cables without paying for them. The suspect threatened the employee with a cane taken from a store display and left the store with the jumper cables.
