Suspicious Activity and Confrontations

We’re a tight-knit community at USC, and we all contribute to keeping our campuses safe. There are times when you may notice someone acting suspiciously on campus or in the surrounding areas. Please report any suspicious activity you see, and we’ll investigate the situation.

If you’ve invited friends or family to visit you on campus after 9pm, read our section on properly registering them as visitors with DPS. Doing so helps us determine who should be on campus and who should not.

If you’re unsure how to handle a confrontation with a stranger, please review our tips on what to do during a robbery and minimizing panhandling.
