Sexual Assault

Reported Offense: At approximately 11 a.m. on Oct. 15, 2020, a student reported to DPS that as she was walking home alone, she was approached from behind. The suspect began a casual conversation with her before he fondled and then sexually assaulted her. This incident occurred sometime between 10:45 p.m. on Oct. 14, 2020 and 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 15, 2020.

Location: Off-campus in the west alley of Figueroa Street, south of 28th Street.

Suspect Description: Male, Hispanic, early 30s, 5 feet 9 inches tall, average build, short messy brown hair, unshaven, brown eyes, dark gray or black T-shirt, and faded dark jeans. The victim described him as disheveled and speaking English with a Spanish accent.
