Sexual Battery

INCIDENT DESCRIPTION: As the female victim (student) was walking southbound on Figueroa Street near 37th Place, a suspect riding a bicycle approached her from behind. The suspect grabbed the victim’s buttocks and made a lewd comment before riding southbound on Figueroa Street toward Flower Street.

DATE & TIME OF OCCURRENCE:  Feb. 4, 2020 at approximately 10:40 a.m.

LOCATION: Figueroa Street near 37th Place (off-campus)

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: The suspect is a 20-25-year-old Hispanic male who wore a blue backpack.

SUSPECT VEHICLE: The suspect rode a black bicycle.

  • Be aware of your surroundings. Do not display your valuables, including your cell phone. Pay attention to who or what is around you at all times. Do not walk alone off-campus after dark.
