DPS patrols the area surrounding USC’s University Park Campus 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
Beginning at the intersection of Vermont Avenue and Exposition Boulevard, the patrol area heads
- Westbound on Exposition Boulevard to Normandie Avenue,
- Northbound on Normandie Avenue to Adams Boulevard,
- Eastbound on Adams Boulevard to Vermont Avenue,
- Northbound on Vermont Avenue to 22nd Street,
- Eastbound on 22nd Street to Hoover Street,
- Northbound on Hoover Street to Washington Boulevard,
- Eastbound on Washington Boulevard to Grand Avenue,
- Southbound on Grand Avenue to Jefferson Boulevard,
- Eastbound on Jefferson Boulevard to Hill Street,
- Southbound on Hill Street to 37th Street,
- Westbound on 37th Street to Grand Avenue,
- Southbound on Grand Avenue to 39th Street,
- Westbound on 39th Street to Figueroa Street,
- Southbound on Figueroa Street to Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard,
- Westbound on Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard to Vermont Avenue,
- Northbound on Vermont Avenue to Exposition Boulevard,

DPS patrols the Health Sciences Campus, 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
Beginning at the intersection of Soto Street and Valley Boulevard, the patrol area heads
- Southbound on Soto Street to Marengo Street,
- Westbound on Marengo Street to the Interstate 5 North Freeway Onramp,
- Around the Health Research Association building and parking lot,
- Northbound on Mission Road to Main Street,
- Eastbound on Main Street to Valey Boulevard,
- Eastbound on Valley Boulevard to the east end of Lincoln Park,
- Northbound along the east end of Lincoln Park,
- Eastbound along the north side of the Soto Street Building II,
- Southbound on Soto Street to the northwest corner of the Valley Lot,
- Eastbound along the north side of the Valley Lot and the Valley Boulevard Building,
- Southbound on Vineburn Avenue to Valley Boulevard,
- Westbound on Valley Boulevard to Soto Street,

Patrol Area Versus Clery Geography
DPS’s patrol area differs from Clery geography. DPS patrols 2.5 square miles around the University Park Campus and 1 square mile around the Health Sciences Campus. DPS monitors this larger geographic area to help keep our communities safe. Clery geography is used specifically for federal crime reporting and only includes USC-owned property and designated adjacent property and city streets.
